Solidaridad Don Bosco

Solidaridad Don Bosco is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) of development promoted by salesians and formed  by women and men who live convinced that a more just and solidary world is possible and necessary. We favor the integral promotion of the persons and the villages of the impoverished countries, specially of the young persons in situation of risk and social exclusion, promoting projects of training and social and professional insertion. We stimulate offers of personal and community development, facilitating spaces of participation that encourage an active citizenship that will be an engine of change.

Fruit of the experience, Solidaridad Don Bosco takes up office in all his actions a model of development centred on the persons, auto sustainable, which departs from the cultures of the villages betting for its potentials to transform its reality, since they are the protagonists of its own development, and convinced that the value of the humanity is in its diversity.

International Cooperation
We are convinced that our compromise in International Cooperation for the Development must be directed to the promotion of the South capacities and the strengthening of his institutions.

Education for the development
We work for more than five years at the educational centers of Andalusia, Canaries and Extremadura interacting with the students, professors and parents, incorporating this critical sense that stimulates solidarity attitudes.

Volunteering
It formed by persons sensitized with the realities of the impoverished countries who take part with us looking for alternatives to fight against the poverty and the injustices. We have a local and International volunteering which believe in the education as engine of change towards another world.
