Purchase Work Vehicle for Tropical and Equatorial Africa
Purchase Work Vehicle for Tropical and Equatorial Africa

The purpose of this project is to acquire a vehicle to be used by the youth pastoral delegation of the Tropical and Equatorial Africa province. The Youth Pastoral Delegate’s role is extensive and crucial for the successful operation of the congregation. Annually the delegate visits each of the five communities and remains in the community on average 2 weeks. Presently, public transportation and plane are the only options available to the delegate to travel to all of the communities in the area of intervention and works throughout the year. A personal vehicle will save travel time which will allow the delegate to increase the frequency of his visits to the communities. This would allow for many improvements, with more constant trainings and the presence of the delegate during the holiday months July and August, an important time to discuss and ensure the implementation of pastoral projects. Additionally, it will allow for educational materials bought in Yaoundé, where donations are received, to be transported more easily to the social seat.
