The members of DBN are Salesian development NGOs and other non-profit Salesian organisations. Their vision, mission and action are inspired on the values and principles expressed by the Gospel, the Teaching of the Church and the orientations of the Salesian congregation.

DBN And All Its Members Commit Themselves To Observe The Principles Expressed In Its Mission Statement

  • Their vision on development and development policy are based on the pedagogical principles of Don Bosco and on the Social Teaching of the Church;
  • The objectives of their statutes and official documents are explicitly expressing this vision and development policy;
  • The nature of their activities is closely linked to those of the congregation;
  • They are linked institutionally with the Salesian congregation through a representation/ presence in their board of directors. commit themselves to the realization of the following mission statement.
