Volunteering

Volunteering, in its various expressions, is closely related to the issue of human rights, social inclusion and active citizenship. At the Salesian level, we have reflected on the close relationship between human rights and the Preventive System. This relationship is rooted in the perspective of the integral salvation of youth.

Don Bosco Network recognises that the main beneficiary of a volunteer experience in the developing world are the volunteers themselves. We therefore attempt to enhance the educational benefit through pre-departure training, support and formation during the placement, and debrief and ongoing communication after you return to your home country. We hope that the volunteer experience will act as a stimulus for continued involvement with development issues, faith in action and the Salesian family.

You Can Be A Part Of Us

At Don Bosco Network, we believe in the power of solidarity and community commitment to create a better world. We are looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers who want to be part of a transformative cause.

In case you want to develop any volunteering experience please contact our member organisation in your country or our coordinator for some guidance.
