On 18th and 19th March, took place in Brussels the third European Humanitarian Forum, in which DBN took part for the first time. It was a huge event with hundreds of organisations cooperation with the European Commission in Humanitarian Aid all around the world. It allowed our coordinator to have a comprehensive view of EU opportunities for our ERM and network with other stakeholders.
DG ECHO and the Belgian Presidency of the EU were organising the event and highlighting the situation in RDC, and not only Ukraine and Gaza wars. Indeed Dr.Denis Mukwege, Nobel Prize was amongst the speakers in a plenary panel about the situation in Goma and Bukavu. However, other humanitarian crisis like Ethiopia were neglected.
